Analysis
We start off with game analysis, recognising strengths and weaknesses in different parts of your game, f.e. openings, middlegames, endgames, time management etc. I usually recommend a time control of at least 3min+2sec or more for training games.
Study Material
Based on analysis, I prepare a selection of study materials (pdfs, books, videos, online traning platforms) that will help you improve on the weakest parts of your game. Study material is again reviewed during lessons to strengthen knowledge.
Foundations
This is the essential part in the study plan and one that often gets overlooked. In order to avoid stagnation in your game, it is crucial to have very solid foundations, understanding of strategy and plans and reasonable calculations skills.
Advanced Concepts
After we have foundations covered well enough, we start building on you strengths, choosing openings that suit your style, analysing middlegames and endings that arise from those openings. We also cover pshycology, tournament preparation etc.
